We used a step ahead flooring to install ne hardwood floors on the entire first floor of our 1970 4 BEDROOM, 2 1/2 REHAB project home. This was a tricky job because ther was marble on the whole first floor that had to be removed. With that removal we found 6-8 inches of the concrete underneath. CHRIS the owner and installer was able to level out the floor beacause a lot of concrete stuck to the marble tiles. We chose 4 inches red oak hard wood flooring and it turned out beautiful!!! on the second floor of the our house there was 2 1/2 inch oak that we had refinished and stanied to match new 1st floor. There is a seamless transition throughout the house and the results look amazinf. CHIRS and a step ahead was helpful, patient, prompt and with helping us get the flooring part of the this huge project done so we could move in our dream house! I highly recommend a step ahead.
